Recipe text is cut off / recipe too long for one page
If your recipe is longer than one page, the extra text at the bottom may be cut off when printed or in the preview.
Recipes do not automatically continue onto a second page, so you’ll need to add another page and move the remaining text there manually. This only takes a minute to fix 🙂
How to move part of a recipe onto a second page
Click the teal + (plus) button in the bottom-right corner of the recipe page to add a second page.
Return to the first page and scroll to the bottom.
Highlight the text that doesn’t fit on the page.
Copy the text (or cut it).
Open the second page and paste the text there.
Go back to the first page and delete the extra text so it only appears on page two.
Your recipe will now print correctly across both pages.
Why doesn’t the system automatically add a second page?
Many authors paste large sections of text into a recipe all at once, and the program can’t reliably determine the best place to split the content.
Because of this, we let you choose where the page break should go — so you can keep ingredient lists, instructions, or notes together exactly how you want them to appear in your printed cookbook.
