Short answer: This is usually temporary — your photos are still there.
What’s happening
To keep the editor running smoothly, the system doesn’t always load every image right away. When this happens, you may see:
A blank space where a photo should be
A small trash can icon in the center of that space
This does not mean your photos were deleted.
Quick fix (most cases)
Refresh your browser page.
Wait a few seconds for the images to reload.
In most cases, the photos will reappear immediately.
If photos are missing from a Preview
If you download a Preview and the photos are missing:
Go back to your book editor.
Refresh your browser.
Download the Preview again.
This usually resolves the issue.
When to contact support
If you’ve refreshed the page and re-downloaded the Preview and your photos are still missing, please contact us through the Help Desk so we can take a closer look and help get things sorted out.
