It's always a good idea to review the PDF preview of your book before placing your order; it will give you an understanding of how your printed book will turn out, and allow you to make any edits/final touches you want before order.
In order to download the PDF preview, go to the "Preview" tab of your dashboard, and click on either "Download PDF in Regular Print Mode" (which will be in color) or "Download PDF in Black & White Mode."
Tips for Viewing Your Book as a PDF:
When reviewing your book as a PDF, you always want to view the file as a two-page spread, as if it were open on a table.
To do this in Adobe Reader:
Select ‘View’ > ‘Page Display’ > ‘Two Page View.’ You can select ‘Show Cover Page’ there, too.
To do this in the “Preview” program on a Mac:
Select ‘View’ > ‘Two Pages.’ [Shortcut: ‘Command-3’]
For Chrome users:
Be sure to download the file (rather than opening the PDF within your browser). To change your Chrome setting to automatic download: Select ‘Settings’ > ‘Security and Privacy’ > ‘Site Settings’ > ‘Additional Content Settings’ > ‘PDF documents’ > ‘Default behavior’ > ‘Download PDFs’
IF YOUR PREVIEW FILE IS MISSING ANY IMAGES:
If you download a preview file in order to review your book and discover it's missing some of its images, please go back to your book-building dashboard, refresh the page, and then try downloading the preview again.
Refreshing the page 'renews' the links to each photos, which are used to build the preview.
