Short answer: Some blank pages can be deleted — others are required for printing and should stay.
Why blank pages appear
Blank pages usually fall into one of these three categories:
1) An extra recipe page was added and left empty
Some recipes can span more than one page. If an additional page was added but never filled in, it may appear blank.
2) A photo or text page was added but left blank
If you added a photo page or text page and didn’t add any content, it will appear as a blank page.
3) The page is required for printing (and shouldn’t be deleted)
What looks like a blank page may actually be the back side of another page. These pages are sometimes needed to keep the book layout correct.
Here's how to delete blank pages that shouldn't be there:
Check for an extra blank recipe page
Make note of where the blank page appears in your book.
Select the recipe near that location.
Look for an extra recipe page that doesn’t contain any content.
Remove or delete that extra page if needed by clicking the button with a 'minus' icon in the bottom right corner of the page
To delete a blank photo or text page
Open your book and go to the CONTENT tab.
Find the blank page in the list on the left-hand side.
Click the three dots to the right of the page name.
Select Delete Page.
When a blank page should stay
If you’ve checked the steps above and the page still appears blank, it’s likely required for printing.
Good to know:
If a section or chapter has an even number of pages, a blank page may appear at the end of the section.
This page is the reverse side of another recipe or image.
Deleting it would also delete the content on the opposite side.
In this case, the blank page should be left in place.
